Russell Brown Bio

Russell Brown is a partner and the head of Gordon & Rees's National Maritime practice group. Mr. Brown has extensive experience in admiralty, maritime and insurance matters, both coverage and defense. He also handles employment and business litigation matters. Mr. Brown has been practicing law for over 32 years. He is a former prosecuting attorney with extensive civil jury trial experience in both federal and state courts and has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Mr. Brown was a shareholder at Littler Mendelson in San Diego and a name member of the firm of Meadows, Smith & Brown in San Francisco. At both firms, he practiced maritime, insurance and employment law.
