Megan Hayati Bio

Megan L. Hayati is a partner in the Los Angeles and San Diego offices of Gordon & Rees and a member of the Employment practice group. Ms. Hayati represents employers and organizations in a wide range of civil lawsuits and administrative matters including tort claims, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, PAGA, and breach of contract actions. Ms. Hayati also has experience defending clients against class action wage and hour claims and has successfully defeated class certification for a nursing facility in two related matters. Ms. Hayati also advises and trains employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws. Ms. Hayati has also defended clients in private arbitrations and mediations and has extensive experience defending financial advisors, broker dealers and other financial institutions in FINRA and other regulatory matters.
