Justin Lewis Bio

Justin D. Lewis is a partner in the San Diego office. He focuses his practice on class action defense, commercial litigation, and unfair competition. Mr. Lewis wields significant experience defending manufacturers of consumer products against claims that their products exhibit chemical or electrical defects. Defending a preeminent manufacturer of consumer products in a recent class action, he defeated a top plaintiffs’ firm and a celebrity attorney on the first day of trial, securing decertification and dismissal before the first witness took the stand. Mr. Lewis also holds significant appellate and international arbitration experience. A former college instructor of public speaking, Mr. Lewis is a cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was cited for writing talent and designated the most outstanding oral advocate in the school’s leading competition. Mr. Lewis also took his undergraduate degree at Illinois, earning highest honors.
