Hazel Mae Pangan Bio

Hazel Mae Pangan is a partner with the Intellectual Property, Commercial Litigation, Privacy, Data & Cybersecurity, and Entertainment, Fashion, Media & Sports practice groups. Ms. Pangan maintains an intellectual property and commercial litigation practice in both state and federal courts. She has successfully handled copyright, trademark, patent, antitrust, technology, and other commercial matters involving various business sectors, including the consumer products, internet services, software, apparel, and jewelry industries. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Pangan worked as a corporate systems instructor and administrator for a Fortune 500 defense contractor. In that capacity, Ms. Pangan developed training curriculum and authored corporate policies and procedures in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and as mandated by federal regulatory organizations. Ms. Pangan also worked directly on the design and implementation of enterprise application software. During law school, Ms. Pangan clerked at the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California and the Attorney General's Office of the California Department of Justice. Ms. Pangan has successfully argued in the California Courts of Appeal, obtaining affirmance for each representative matter.
