Sarah Curtis Richmond Bio

Sarah Curtis Richmond serves on Gesmer’s Executive Committee which manages the firm. Before joining the firm, Sarah was associated with Hale and Dorr (now WilmerHale) in Boston, where she specialized in corporate transactions and securities work for both public and private companies. Prior to that, she practiced law with Tomotsune, Kimura & Mitomi, a Japanese international finance law firm in Tokyo, where she represented clients engaging in international joint ventures and advised Japanese companies on United States corporate law. Sarah is active in many non-profit organizations. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Women’s Archive, the Women’s Philanthropy Board of Boston’s Combined Jewish Philanthropies, and the Board of Trustees of Temple Emanuel in Newton. She is the chair of the Attorneys’ Group for the Boston Club, and former co-chair of both the Corporate Law Committee and Communications Committee of the Boston Bar Association.
