Marie Evrard Bio

Marie Evrard is an expert in corporate law with more than 30 years' experience spent advising clients in national and cross-border transaction and structuring work. Her field of competences includes M&A and private equity (structuring, due diligence, negotiations, share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, financing, ancillary agreements, security package), joint-ventures, mergers and demergers, corporate governance, financial law (including bond issues, public take-over bids and listings) and real estate. Marie has also been involved in major international files, coordinating the work of professionals acting in different disciplines (including lawyers) in more than 15 countries. Publications that she has written include a reference book on joint-ventures (Joint Ventures: from wedding to divorce published by Larcier in 2006) and numerous articles in the field of general corporate law, international mergers and corporate governance. She has been ranked by Chambers and Legal 500. In addition to many other clubs and organisations,she is a founding member of Women on Board.
