Shishir Vayttaden Bio

Shishir Vayttaden has advised Indian and overseas clients on M&A and corporate reorganisations. He regularly advises Fortune 500 companies like Abbott Labs, Prudential Financial Inc., Softbank and Blackstone. He has also worked extensively with several large Indian groups. Notable transactions that he has recently advised on include the merger of ING Vysya Bank with Kotak Mahindra Bank and the acquisition by BNP Paribas SA of Sharekhan Limited. Shishir has advised on public M&A and the structuring of transactions in listed companies. His book on the SEBI’s takeover regulations (Shishir Vayttaden on SEBI’s Takeover Regulations) was published by Lexis Nexis Butterworths in 2010.
