She has extensive experience in private equity investments, joint ventures as well as a range of corporate advisory matters ,across industry sectors. She has advised on a significant number of high-profile and complex transactions, and is an expert in issues pertaining to structuring, documentation and implementation of M&A transactions and advising on regulatory issues, including under foreign investment and SEBI laws. In the area of private equity, Nivedita has considerable experience in advising international private equity funds in relation to their investments in India (PIPE deals as well as growth deals) and also Indian companies that have received private equity investments.
