Reena Kotecha Bio

Reena Kotecha is adept at understanding the needs and goals of her clients and providing them with legal solutions that truly work when applied in a business context. Reena works with a diverse range of clients and is passionate about building lasting relationships with them all, with an overarching goal of helping them to strengthen their business. Reena is a member of the firm’s Corporate/Commercial group. She practices in the area of business law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, shareholder agreements, share/asset purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations and various types of commercial contracts. She acts for small- and mid-size privately owned businesses, as well as larger, national and multinational clients. After summering and articling with Aird & Berlis, Reena joined the firm as an associate in 2008 and became a partner in 2014. Actively involved in recruitment, Reena serves as Chair of the firm's Student Recruitment Committee and is actively engaged in helping new students make a successful transition to the associate ranks at Aird & Berlis.
