Michael Willett graduated from the University of Aberdeen with an honours degree in civil and structural engineering. Following graduation, Willett spent four years with accountancy firm Grant Thornton where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAS). Prior to joining Simmons Energy | A Division of Piper Sandler® in 2008, Willett also spent four years with the Royal Bank of Scotland plc working in the oil & gas leveraged finance team.
