Matt Guyton Bio

Matt Guyton joined Simmons Energy | A Division of Piper Sandler® in 2018 and focuses on the energy services and equipment sector. Prior to joining the firm, Guyton spent more than two years in the energy investment banking group at Wells Fargo Securities after earning a Master of Business Administration degree from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Prior to pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree, Guyton spent two years at Bechtel in supply chain quality assurance supporting global energy and power projects and five years as a U.S. Naval Officer qualifying nuclear engineer and surface warfare officer. Guyton graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
