John Caldwell Bio

John Caldwell is an Audit Services partner in the San Francisco office. He has more than 28 years of experience providing consulting and public accounting services to public and private companies. Caldwell has an extensive background in investment and real estate funds, public REITs, complex accounting, purchase accounting, hedging and embedded derivatives, real estate asset impairment, fair value accounting, and P&L allocations in partnerships. He also has experience in the hedge fund private equity, hospitality, construction, printing, health care, technology, public sector and insurance industries. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Caldwell was a managing director at Huron Consulting Group and a partner at two Big Four accounting firms.
